My artistic journey began..
early, sparked by a summer program at The Ringling School of Art in Florida.
My initial training in fine arts began with oil painting, which evolved into mixed media using acrylics.
This transition led to a swift rise in my career: my work was featured in galleries across Canada and the USA, exhibited globally, and even included interpretive pieces for DreamWorks Animation fine art.
However, life took me in a new direction when I had children and pursued a career in marketing, which necessitated a pause in my artistic endeavors. Once my children were grown, I reconnected with my creative roots and discovered encaustic painting. This medium captivated me with its earthy, organic qualities. The process of watching pure beeswax, pigments and varnishes meld and transformunder the torch is endlessly mesmerizing. Each piece is unique, and the results are always a delightful surprise.
I am passionate about sharing this art form with collectors worldwide.
I am currently working independently but am seeking representation in Canadian art galleries.
